Illumination Survey

Approximately 80 percent of all information to be processed by the human brain is received by the eyes, and this sense of sight depends upon the quality and quantity of eyes. Light is said to affect the functioning of the neuroendocrine system, which in turn affects other systems and organs of the body. Working environments should be well lit as this can improve on the operating performance levels of workers, as well as reduce headache, eyestrain and fatigue. We assess the quantity and distribution of light falling on workstation, and compare then to international requirements for the type of work being undertaken or workplace, to help make corrections if necessary.
