Workplace Noise Surveys

Noise- induced hearing loss is a major occupational disease and accounts for a large percentage of workmen compensation claims. Noise surveys are usually carried out on a bi- annual or annual basis, or when processes, equipment or work patterns at the workplace changes. We have various instrumentations for our noise assessment surveys. The surveys we are able to adequately carry out include preliminary surveys, area sound level surveys, equipment sound level surveys, noise exposure surveys and noise control measurement surveys. Our assessments include frequency analysis, real time analysis, area noise mapping or contour mapping, predictive noise exposure modeling, worst case monitoring, general assistance with noise controls, PPE selections, review of hearing protection devices and general noise managements. Studies on possible worker exposures to Ototoxins which also contributes to hearing loss is included in our surveys.
